GhostMode Vault functions strictly as a temporary, real-time visual streaming tunnel. Decrypted enterprise documents exist exclusively inside the client system's volatile runtime variables (RAM). The software enforces hard infrastructure blocks that forcefully disable data persistence vectors across all execution pipelines.
The architecture is designed so that no document content, user credentials, or session data ever leaves volatile memory during normal operation.
GhostMode Vault maintains an absolute zero-retention framework. Our infrastructure has been deliberately engineered to render data collection technically impossible:
Access to your offline local smartphone vault is gated strictly by hardware-level authentication interfaces. The application leverages native mobile biometric APIs such as Apple Face ID and Touch ID, or a specialized user-defined secure cryptographic PIN matrix.
Biometric credentials stay safely isolated within your device's physical Secure Enclave or Trusted Platform Module (TPM). The developer possesses absolutely no technical mechanism to view, copy, bypass, or reset these access controls.
Temporary web-based streaming sessions run in complete isolation from the public host machine's physical hardware arrays. Our end-to-end tunneling protocols incorporate enterprise-grade symmetric cryptography algorithms.
- localStorage disabled: Forcefully blocked to prevent forensic caching
- IndexedDB blocked: Standard browser write-buffers are disabled
- Proximity heartbeat: Data is continuously audited via an automated heartbeat check
- Instant shred: The absolute millisecond you trigger the kill-switch or walk away, active registers are aggressively overwritten with empty null values, immediately neutralizing physical memory-scraping vectors
GhostMode Vault requests the following device permissions:
- Camera: Used exclusively to scan QR gateway codes at ghostmodevault.com to establish a secure encrypted session. No photos are captured, stored, or transmitted at any time.
- Microphone: Used exclusively for voice dictation and voice note recording within active sessions. Audio is processed locally on device and is never transmitted to external servers in plaintext.
Both camera and microphone access are requested only at the moment they are needed and require explicit user permission. Permissions can be revoked at any time through your device settings.
Because the software neither holds, transmits, nor aggregates user profiles or analytical records, GhostMode Vault remains fully aligned with global privacy standards including:

- HIPAA — Health Insurance Portability and Accountability Act (United States)
- CCPA — California Consumer Privacy Act (California, United States)
